Just a post to add what I consider some of the great AC tracks, which maybe don't get much attention:
Thruxton: Tremendous high speed circuit. Lived 4km from this track, use heavy clouds and an early morning time for maximum grim UK effect
Magny Cours: In Martin Brundle's excellent book "Working The Wheel" he surprisingly mentions Magny Cours as one of his favourite circuits, mainly because it was his test track at Ligier and he recorded 1,000s of laps there. Again, change time to 9am and relive Brundle's test days at this wonderful circuit.
Laguna Seca: A WIP mod. You can see in every turn the love in creating this well-featured circuit. Watch Jeremy Clarkson tackle this on YouTube and you can see how much more accurate the AC mod is compared to it's Gran Turismo equivalent.
