Help with a couple of options.

1.) Which graphical setting do I need to change to reduce how bright or glowing the green and red track lights are on track's like Monza?

2.) Can you remove some of the HUD stuff when driving, like the tyres hud, the leaderboard and the proximity indicator that pops up right in front of you when another car is near? I must be stupid because I can't figure that one out.

You can scrolll through the various huds by pressing left on a dpad or funky switch - whatever you have on your wheel. You can even have no hud, it's whatever key you have bound to that function in your controller options. Also, all the huds are configurable, you can have as many or as few options displayed as you like. Go into options and HUD settings whilst on track. The proximity option is in the gameplay settings under display.
