Help me understanding the points system in championchip

I created a custom championchip.
Multiclass, GT3 and GT4. Me in GT3.
Below are screens from the results and the leaderboard.
I won the GT3 class, all drivers PRO-AM.
McCay won the GT4 class, all drivers Silver.

Final results after the race:
Overall, me (Recaro Racing) 98 points?
GT3, me 61 points
GT4, McCay 37 points
Looks like the points are being added, 61 + 37 = 98, why?

But it gets weirder. After leaving the circuit, we can see the current leaderboard. But there is a totally different team leading with 62 points for the car and 26 points for the team (which BTW is missing in the after race points). And my team is completely missing.

What is going on? Am I missing something? Is it bugged?
Do I have to use pen and paper managing championchip points?

Well, I guess I'm going to have to keep some excel spreadsheet with the usual 25-18-15 scoring myself.
