It's a mystery to me why Codies left out a Handbrake indicator to see if it is working properly.

Codies should IMHO definitely make a tiny HUD element (ala Assetto Corsa) that shows the range of all pedals including the Handbrake.

Can an axis handbrake be assigned in DR or is it a button press only, I ask because I want to make a home made one. I am glad I can now assign my clutch pedal since the last update.

I use the Fanatec Handbrake and it use an analogue potentiometer

I have a DSD Hydraulic Handbrake, and there is no issue with DR recognising it.
