GTL Racing Club This Week / 13

Yes, the league is back again. This week we're in Australia at a wonderful track - the R1 Circuit. It's a very well designed fantasy track and the location is somewhere in the green outskirts of a bigger city.

With long straights and nice undulating bends this sure does look like a track for all the cars. Maybe the power cars might have an edge but can they hold it through the bends...we will have to wait and see. This is quite a contrast from the Anglesey circuit which produced some epic racing and a few nice surprises. Here's a recap for those who missed it:

Once again thanks to Tim Ling for a super video of the race highlights.

Once again well done to the winner Ross McGregor and a very fine 2nd place to Roland Warmenhoven and in 3rd place Bob Huchins. Even Ross had a moment and was lucky to survive the impact with a wall, putting it down to the fact the engine was in the rear of his Apline and a plastic chassis.

On to Thursday, and we go to the good old USA and the Mojave desert for a battle between a US muscle car the Ford Mustang and the light and nimble Lotus Elite. Power vs agility should make for a good end to the week.
