Agreed, I didn't want to be the guy who reminded people about the "no chat during race" rule and I do have a mute TS button bound on my buttonbox, but TS is good for giving messages related to whats happening on track, it's just a bit distracting when people are bantering.

Don't worry, you don't have to be that guy to remind people about rules..............as that isn't one.!!!
"No chat "..... means 'text chat's NOT 'TS'.
Specifically during Qualifying and League races, (not club races).
However, push to talk button is recommended for keeping out unwanted noises.

Just for the record, I don't mind chat, that is something fun. But a constant stream of noises makes me lose it ;-).
