Why is it that in GT World Challenge Europe, competitors like Porsche, mclaren and Honda participate only in endurance and not sprint races?

Why is it that in GT World Challenge Europe, competitors like Porsche, mclaren and Honda participate only in endurance and not sprint races?

Well, that's hard to say, but it would be teams that participate, not manufacturers as this is customer motorsport.
Preference? Policy? Track selection vs. strength/weaknesses of the car?

trying to understand the logic or the championship rules: if it is up to a team to decide than it's hard to believe that there isn't even one Porsche team that would want to participate in both endurance and sprint...
