Playstation 3 title Gran Turismo 6 has been updated to version 1.17 by Polyphony Digital.
The new patch, announced on the Playstation Blog, brings two additional cars to the popular racing title: the Lexus LF-LC GT ‘Vision Gran Turismo’ and Alpine Vision Gran Turismo.

Gran Turismo 6 owners can acquire the new cars by buying it in the Vision GT area or, much more conveniently, by simply completing a lap in the new Seasonal Event, which will be available for a limited time.
The Alpine Vision Gran Turismo and Alpine Vision Gran Turismo 'Race Mode’ also bring new themed racing suits and helmets, which, once again, can be acquired in the proper Seasonal Events or in the Tuning and Servicing section.
The 1.17 update also fixes "the issue regarding the 'Championship' race found after installing Update 1.16, where it was not possible to resume a Championship race that was previously suspended while playing in 'B-Spec' mode".
