G27 Wheel + G29 shifter and USB adapter?

Cheers.So after years of use and two times repaired my G27 shifter is gone for good.After some search for used one I had to buy new G29 shifter.I knew reverse gear wont work so I mapped it to botton on the wheel.(I even tried to put all shifting parts from G29 to G27 then 5 and 6th gear wont work).Logitech uses new software for G29 btw...
Does any body knows if I buy Usb adapter for G29 shifter and make it stand alone will reverse gear work normal?

If you use the Leo Bodnar adaptor, it should work fine. I used one for my G25 Shifter when I use my G27 wheel.
It will work independently to the wheel.

Ive used the Loe Bodnar adapter for all three shifters.. g25, g27, and g29.. Currently use it with a g29.

I personally wouldnt trust them but ive seen a few yt videos where people use them without issue.

I have nothing to back my not trusting in them, however.

iv just got the leo bodnar adapter for my G25 box, but it wont recognize reverse and none of the buttons work.......... any ideas folks?

EDIT : its my shifter thats knackered, not the adaptor

Dunno if you have fixed it already but you have to download the calibration tool from his website

yeah, i contacted them, turns out the shifter is abit broken hahahaaha, tested it with another G25 shifter and it worked fine. nice one

I took the risk and it worked out for me I bought mine on alieexpress for €15 however just because mine worked does not mean every single one from china works
