Hi, I have a question about the cockpit view rule:
6.5
The Cockpit view is the obligatory default view. Changes to steering wheels and the cockpit

viewpoint are prohibited unless stated otherwise by the Administration.
I generally like to set my view below the default 35 by modifying the cam file. It is my opinion that changing this setting is just for personal preference, and not to gain an advantage. Can someone please explain why you think this rule is necessary?

can anyone answer this question for the upcoming season? If I set my default view as cockpit, is it permissble to modify my cam file viewpoint angle? Is a Cam file part of the files to be submitted at the end of each race?

You are not allowed to modify any of the files including the cam file. Otherwise the forced cockpit view wouldn´t work.

The FOV can also be changed in the game options.

thank you. its just that the lowest possible in game FOV is 35, I really wanted to go below that.

Hi guys, when 2013 race rules will be published? Rules like full tank, parc ferme ecc...Is there a rules page yet?

I agree. It is one week from the start of the season. Perhaps 2013 will be the same, with the only rule change for 2013 that was announced was elimination of the Team Limitation.
