FPS Locked to 90?

Hi guys, just a quick question, I've got AC working nicely with my Vive, Render Stats shows steady 89.5fps.

Is AC locked to 89/90 fps by default? Anyway to get more?

AC has an in-game fps limiter, it's in video options. Seems you have it at 90

It is not AC, it is you Vive that is lock at 89.5, CV1 is 90, DK2 is 75, all vr have a FPS rate they operate best at.

As an extension to this, it's because in VR you are much more sensitive to inconsistent FPS. Generally it's to help keep people from getting motion sickness from VR.

More FPS wouldn't be necessary anyways. Much better than high FPS is stable FPS, regardless of what you view it on. Having more headroom above your FPS is good to prevent drops.

I did think that the HMD was locking the fps, just wanted to be sure.
