Having spent most of 2012 and part of 2013 in the North (Bremen, Bremerhaven), I hope the flood crest will not be as violent. Keeping my fingers crossed for my friends as well.

While i agree we damage the nature of the world, it is not so reasonable to connect every single disaster with global warming. We had such floods, bizarre seasons in the course of history too.
