First post deleted?

I just posted in the hardware forum an hour or two ago. (Asking for baseplate recommendations for VRS pedals). The post was awaiting mod approval before going live. The post is now completely gone and I have no notice or message about why.

Is this standard procedure here? Thought I posted in the correct forum for my question and not sure why it would be deleted outright like this.

Any help is appreciated.

ok, it was visible for an hour or so then fully gone so looked like it was nuked. Thanks!
