Fanatec CSL Elite wheel

Hi, I have the fanatec csl wheel and until now I've never had a problem with it, but now when I'm driving and I turn the wheel too far to the left or right the thing nearly breaks my wrists the wheel just seems to want to rotate out of control, I can't think what's different the only thing is that I have changed my motherboard, that couldn't have done it, could it?
and how do I fix it?
Think I've fixed it, I downloaded the firmware again and it reset my settings lol
