I think it looks pretty sick! That's just looks though, who knows how it would preform in a real test. If it worked out alright though, I'd be all for it. I think it looks a lot like what Manolis Sigoulakis said.

This sort of looks like a superspeedway IndyCar of present, just a bit more rounded an less bulky on the sides. Of course, that's all about to change.

Just return to the 2008 car style. More downforce, more horsepower and a lower
center of gravity. Is that too much too ask? I mean those 2008 cars were simly
insane in terms of looks.

The increase in mechanical grip and the reduction in aero influenced grip would mean less impact of dirty air and so more and better overtaking.
The tyres playing more of a role would mean that dynamically over a stint the tyre performance would impact lap time too so there would be some interesting tactical calls.
Only thing is what will they do with all those wind tunnels?

Use them as dry mills for the laundry of the entite F1 crew?
