F1 23 Tyre Mod for F1 22 - Converted the F1 23 tyres into F1 22

Converted the F1 23 tyres into F1 22. The tyres now have the staggerd degredation just like in 23 aswell as all the other characteristics (more pickup, brakes do most of the tyre warming etc..). Enjoy, as it makes the game far more enjoyable.

Download > Exctract Files > f1_2023_tyres_pv > f1_2023_tyres_pv > copy_ paste_mod > 2022_asset_groups, copy this file (2022_asset_groups) then locate wherever your f1 22 folder is, left click it, then right click it and paste the copied file and it will say do you want to replace the file, click yes. Hope this helps

No more W11 Simulator :(

Before releasing this mod I had not done much testing, however the more I've used it the more I relised how much easier the game had become. I had gone from 90 ai to 105 which I thought was due to the 2023 like traction, but was more to do with the insane amount of extra laterial loads the tyres now produced, which made traction almost non exisitant, so I have gone back and changed the laterial loads back to what they were in the base game, which has fixed the issue whilst not turing it back...

THIS MOD SHOULD ONLY BRING IMPROVEMENTS WHEN USING THE STEERING WHEEL, BECAUSE I PLAYED ON THE KEYBOARD, I STOPPED HAVING GRIP, AS IF I WALKED ON ICE.

What do you mean? This mod does only bring improvments the game, maybe dont play on keyboard

MAYBE NOT EVERYONE PLAYS WITH A STEERING WHEEL, OTHERWISE, CODEMASTER WOULD NOT TALK ABOUT EACH RELEASE, THAT THEY ARE IMPROVING, FOR THOSE WHO DON'T PLAY WITH A STEERING WHEEL.

With his mod, the car continued to slip at idle in corners, the starts slipping, even using a more spike of grip in the slipstrem mod. It's not like the native f1 2023 improvements. Here it only brought worse results.

Soft Tyres Now Usable Again

There is now a greater difference between the tyre compounds a bit like in the base game, which now makes the softs usable again for certain tracks.

CaptainRobo updated F1 23 Tyre Mod for F1 22 with a new update entry:

Fixed tyre temperatures

Apologies for the late update concerning the tyre temperature issue. I have had to revert back to how tyre temperatures work in f1 22 as aposed to f1 23. Due to this tyre warmup does take longer, however to preserve undercuts being powerful as seen in f1 23, I have raised pit exit temperatures from 70 to 85.
