Codemasters have released their first full in-game trailer for F1 2020 - check out the video here.

We've seen quite a bit of F1 2020 already so far, with a couple of gameplay laps from both the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya and the freshly redesigned Zandvoort Grand Prix Circuit, and now we get a first look at the whole picture - with a new trailer showcasing the game in a much more wholesale fashion than has been the case so far.

In this latest trailer Codemasters give us a first glimpse of gameplay action, plus showcase the returning Formula 2 series that was such a popular addition to the franchise last time out. Now fully integrated into Career mode, Formula 2 will allow players to choose from full, half-season and three-race challenge options when the game releases this July - although the title will only ship with the 2019 season at first, with the 2020 update coming as a free patch later in the year.

You can check out the new trailer below:

In other F1 2020 news, Codemasters have also revealed the full roster of historic content set to feature within the title. Featuring 16 vehicles selected from the rich history of the sport, you can see the full list below:

“The first in-game trailer has become a key moment in the F1® game campaign and this year is no exception,” said Lee Mather, F1® Franchise Game Director at Codemasters. “Each season we raise the visual benchmark, and with more circuits and teams getting new liveries, we can’t wait for the season to start and for players to be able to race.”

F1 2020 is set to release on July 10th 2020, with the Michael Schumacher Deluxe Edition dropping three days early.

F1 2020 will release on Xbox One, PS4, Google Stadia and PC this July.

Yeah I agree with Leonardo that the video shown here is fluff and is probably the video they will use when the game first opens up. Didn't show me very much, looked much like F1 2019. Thanks for the link pointer to the racefans videos Leonardo - explains everything more.

Well ... from the video it seems very similar to the previous one I always had all Formula 1 games I hope there will be significant changes in this new F1 2020 as it is too early to be able to give a concrete opinion and also very little is known about Formula 1 of this year when I do it more or move on to a simulator or game as you want to call it, for the time being it seemed very identical and very simple, the video can't draw many conclusions. DO THIS WITH CALM.

For the first time in franchise history they won't be HALF-SEASON late with their release.

PS seriously, why can't they release it WITH season start, when most of the fans are SO excited? Crime shame really, especially now when they can update game (speed, liveries, etc) "over the air".
F1 2000 on the PS1 (EA version) came out in March 2000 and the car and driver performances were nowhere near the season average with Minardi slowest (unlike real life, where it was Prost GP for most of the year).

The 2021 next gen version will surely deserve more interest.

There are some strange Matrix effects on the trailer. I don't like it.

Actually, seriously, this is the Fifa of the video game adapted to F1.

One episode every 3 years is enough. Unless you're a Formula 1 fan, don't buy the game when it's released, the price will drop 30% near Christmas and it will be patched. Miracle.

After what I said ... I would like to say that I like the game and its career mode. CodeMasters have the money and knows how to make things look good (the staging, the podiums, the comments), It's the only thing that's really missing from other games.

After that, there is no VR but it will be for the next episode maybe ?
They are forced to release a new game yearly.

wow not a whole lot of NO VR NO BUY comments yet......but just wait......they'll be there

Even with VR no buy.

This is a watered down mainstream title/series aimed purely at making money which means simplified flattering driving model and fluffy graphics. Targeted at console gamepad game players.
If you enjoy that sort of thing and clearly millions do great, enjoy.

It looks like an amazing game. Lots of eye-candy. Still hesitant to buy because the cars are supposed to change in 2021
Did you miss the news? New regulations postponed to 2022.

And also Horner says F1 teams seek delay to new rules to 2023.

Same ... as every year. Again they recycled the damn old 3D tracks from 2010. Just a massive joke these days. But obviously nobody cares.
For me the tracks that being in the game since the first title are still same, look Monza, Spa, Catalunya, Singapore, Hungary and so on.
Still have no words, sry but I can't support this as long as they stay with these bad tracks.
The track have been significantly reworked thanks to the feedback that CM has been given from the real life drivers during the past couple of months they've been plying the game. Most tracks have had their width increased, Spain has seen a reworked 3rd sector, and curbs have been reworked across the board once again meaning you can attack them like no tomorrow, just to name a few examples.

If I do get the F1 2020 it would be when the price goes way down, and just because of the 2 new tracks added to the game. Did the same with F1 2019 got it on a pretty good sale price. I only do quick races on each of the tracks or time trials. I dont have the full time to do the career mode in any racing games. Those of us that use VR, we can always hope for a future version of the game comes with VR, but I wont hold my breath waiting for the Devs to do it. I do use Vorpx as an alternative for the F1 games. I will keep watching the reviews when full game is released.
