On every corner, you could use the throttle halfway-through. You can hear it by the engine revs

Apart from that (another arcade-game) the engine does sound really realistic

Pretty much this , i think its same as 2013 with graphical changes

Haven't CM stated before that these hotlap videos are driven by the AI? So it won't give you a true judgement of the players handling model and whether you will be able to go on the throttle so early

F1 2014 is a stop gap made on the same engine as 2013 (not even the Grid engine which looks much better).

Not only that, if you look at the list of improvements you see handling for gamepads("accessible driving experience..."), nothing for wheels, it is very unlikely that this game will be any simmer than the last...

2015 has a chance, already announced to be 60 fps, extra processing power from the new consoles, but 2014...

Not bad, but still not one tiny part of it in cockpit-cam view if only to see if bugsmasters fixed their particular Formula 1-car's missing antennas, or if they really improved the depth of view in mirrors. Same as last year, then. No improvement there. I remember the first gameplay videos in 2010 where we had a few sequences in cockpit-cam view. Not anymore.
