HA 10,000 world wide on PC, no wonder no one cares about PC gamers.
280,000 world wide on Console.
Sad, but if you were CM, who would you care about more?
Yup, only 40,000 sales in US, and they release there first!?
If you believe vgchartz. I very much doubt they've done as badly as 10,000 worldwide on the PC.
For reference the peak today on steam (Sept 30th by steam time) was 875 players.... and that's just on steam. Even if all of the 10,000 sales were through steam that'd be nearly 10% of players playing at any one point in time. Sounds highly inplausable to me.
(Incidentally that is really not great for a title on steam. For referecen Civ 5 peaked at 19,496, FM 2009 (!) at 1,340, Borderlands 2,508 - see http://store.steampowered.com/stats/)
Team fortress 2 is how old now? like 6 or 7 years at least? and it still has 52,698 players a day
I get on f1 2011, and GFWL tells me there's 12 people online.
hahaha and Railworks, the Train simulator had twice as many players today than f1 2011 did
If it ain't selling it, they ain't patching it is the way I look at it. How many copies of 2010 did they sell?
Haha, I'm an F1 fan in the US, and I never understood why it was being released here first, seems pretty backwards to me. I have two or three friends that even know what F1 is, lol.
