F1 2012 Engine advice

Hey guys. I have come to the conclusion that the engine blowing issue is probably down to driving style. With that said can anybody give me some adviceon how to change my manual gearing style without losing loads of time.

You must brake 1 second before changing down.
Then change down one gear at a time, with small gap between each.
Don't worry, I know this doesn't sound like the quickest way, but you will soon re-program your brain, speed it all up and it will feel just as fast as it was before, only now you will be braking and changing down at the right revs

This problem with smoking engine I think it's cause the flashbacks....not the driving style...
I realize that every time I used the a flashback, before the engine are ok, but after the engine is smoking...

I'm a very aggressive driver, I attack the track, and while I blew alot of engines when I started driving, I've maintained my driving style and the car is smoking maybe once every ten races now.

I think it also depends on the team your driving for, some teams have healthier engines then others.

@RAP - Its definitely not caused by Flashbacks in my case as i don't use them lol.

Apply enough pressure when you start breaking and always break first then start downshifting, it works nice and you can downshift fast as long as you do this.
