Great job from codemasters.
Now on my 5600x + rtx 3080 all settings max except motion blur (personnal choice) and 4k permanent 60 FPS on my 4k tv
The temp of gpu temperature has dropped by 5 to 10 degrees....
 
even on my 1060 this looks ok-ish now. the trick was to turn down anti-aliasing, that made everything much smoother, can run whole stages now without fps dropping below 70, nice. settings mostly on medium, some below.
 
With my low end spec PC I've come across a few things....
I5 9600kf

2560x1080 HDR

If I use my screens native resolution with say medium preset, with low or med AA visually it looks good but low fps 40-55fps avg

If I enable FSR with quality preset my fps doubles but it's a pixelated mess unless I use high AA

The sweet spot for me is...
Medium preset
High:
Ground coverage
Textures
Trees
Track
Low:
Reflections
Shadows
Mirrors
Everything else med.
FSR, quality setting high AA

Avg. 70+ fps upto 100 in good conditions
A couple dips into the mid 50s with night and weather but usually 60ish fps

Another thing with HDR disabled, snow tracks are over exposed and nearly impossible to see any details or definition of the track.
Enabled, it looks fine.
