The time has come for the last Development Update at Reiza, and the Brazilian team has decided to end 2023 with a bang!
For the last update of the year, in fact, Reiza decided to deviate from this year's predominant theme, namely historic cars and circuits, to dedicate himself to something more modern that could satisfy endurance fans who have been waiting for developments for too long in this sense.
And to end the year on a high, the team is preparing to release the Endurance Pack Pt. 1, which will contain the Circuit de la Sarthe, the iconic home of the equally iconic 24 Hours of Le Mans and 7, SEVEN, new cars: starting from the GT3 class, which from 2024 will take the place of the GTEs in the WEC, with the McLaren 720S Evo, the Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo, the BMW M4 GT3 and the Porsche 992 GT3-R.
Added to these is a new class, the LMDh which just this year made its debut in the world endurance championship, enriching the roster of Hypercars entered in the world championship. For this first DLC, three prototypes will be added: the Porsche 963, the Cadillac V-Series.R and the BMW M Hybrid V8. A second Endurance Pack will arrive during 2024 with new GT3 and LMDh as well as new GTE, LMP2 and LMP3
Update 1.5.5 will also bring with it many other new features, such as graphic updates, improvements to the AI, which will receive driver change support. There will also be improvements to the sound sector, LED panels in the FIA Grade 1 circuits and new presets for single player championships.
Reiza also offers us a look into the future, with new updates approximately every 2/3 months to guarantee a certain stability. Among the important updates the team is working on there are a content manager, a new UI, a new tool for dedicated servers and a career mode, which however could only see the light in 2025.
Content-wise the team already has a long list of cars and tracks to include in the simulation, with negotiations for some premium brands already well underway. This is both content from existing classes and new disciplines, although 2024 will mostly be dedicated to populating existing car classes.
