Do you think seat position is real?

It depends on the car you drive, but sometimes the default seat position make you feel you are very close to the windshield, is the reality?

I think there are different opinions about it, what is "real" and what's not.
I for myself always move the seat forward to compensate the distance between my eyes and my monitor. Most of default seat positions give me the impression to drive from the back seat, which feels wrong to me.

by the way how do you save the seat position? if you stop the game and restart it you loose your seat position.

It's not implemented yet, but hopefully will come later.

As a little bit complicated workaround you could edit the cam file "cockpit_driver_view.xml" for your preferred cars and change the driver position. But it's a little bit try&error to find your best viewpoint.
But i don't know if it's worth the effort.
