E Team BRIT is an all-disabled sim racing team part of motorsport’s most inspirational team, Team BRIT. (www.teambrit.co.uk) Team BRIT was set up in 2015 and we aim to inspire people with disabilities, PTSD, and mental health issues. We do this by demonstrating what can be achieved through motorsport and as many drivers will know, it is one of the few sports to offer a level playing field for disabled people against able-bodied drivers.

We are now looking for new drivers to join the team as we look to push on further into this ever-growing sport. However, being part of the wider Team BRIT family will present opportunities beyond just sim racing online. These will include taking part in real world events such as the Simply Race Endurance Series, the GTR24H as well as races, events, and networking opportunities with Team BRIT.

It is a sim-team with a difference. As you may have guessed from the title we are looking to add to our numbers. We have had drivers in the past with disabilities as varied as you would find in the driver line up for Team BRIT, ranging from Autism. PTSD, Narcolepsy to wheelchair users and everything in between. The only question we ever ask a driver is do you have a disability? Never beyond that.

We can only recruit drivers from the UK as part of the plan is to give E Team BRIT drivers parity within Team BRIT. There is a certain expectation on E Team BRIT drivers to attend real life events in person as needed. Some being Team BRIT & Sponsor events, others directly related to E Team BRIT including promoting our new hand control steering wheel. However, drivers will certainly not be expected to attend them all if they are unable to.
Some of our sponsors include BRIT Insurance, Texaco Fuel & Lubricants, DAF Trucks, Vesaro Racing Simulators, Simply Race, D-BOX Motion Platforms, Karcher Pressure Washers and LEMO Medical Interconnect Solutions to name but a few.

This is an incredibly unique opportunity for a sim-team to have a direct link to a real-world race team and be part of a wider project.
If you are interested in joining the team or if you have any further questions, please email eteambrit@teambrit.co.uk explaining why you think you would be a good fit for this project! Alternatively join our discord server (link below) and find us on social media. Anyone who joins the team must be enthusiastic and passionate about what we do, helping us to show the world that disability is no barrier to success.
