F1 2013 day 1 hairpin test impossible

just downloaded on steam and checked that patch 7 is on it.......still impossible to complete day 1 hairpin test! what do I do to resolve this because I can't start career???

Maybe u re playing that challenge without traction control, if it is, try to insert it and retry the challenge. This time should work

Sorted now.
Basically I could only get up to 164mph at the end of the straight when you need to reach 185mph. Since closing the game down and sorting out my Logitech profiler, the car now reaches plenty of speed on the straight, may also be something to do with the patch,
