Dashboard pro??.

Can anyone help??, I got the dashborad pro app loaded on my phone and pc and im linking my phone via a usb lead as per instructions. But thew problem is how do I get it to work it from there might be me but I getting confused by the instructions?, can someone explain a bit simpler for me how to set it up.
