F1 2010 Custom controls... with wheel

I use a G27 wheel.

Am I the only one not using the default controls with a wheel? I prefer using my clutch pedal for braking instend of the regular one because I'm more comfortable.

Now to do that... I can't just go in the G27 controls and edit the brake bindings (for some reason everything is greyed out, can,t touch anything). I have to select "custom" controls and rebind every key one by one.

When I do that.. my D-Pad stops working in menus, I'm positive my bindings are fine. (I had the same problem in DiRT 2 btw). What's up with that... it's Soooooo annoying

You'll have to manually edit the ActionMap Preset file for the G27 in the F1 2010/ActionMap directory. I'm sure there are threads for it on the board.

I've been looking for the same information.
Key is the correct axis name for the clutch panel.
Required to manually modify the Logitech G27 Racing Wheel USB.xml
Shown below is the default code for the brake pedal. Bold part must be updated with new axis name...
