F1 2010 Create a Custom Helmet

How i can create a new custom helmet?...
i extracted the file of italian helmet (because i'm italian) to personalize it but i don't understand how to connect the upper part of the helmet with the other parts...i always wrong the angle or the position of stripes for example...
someone have a solution or a tutorial?
