Being a huge fan of the F1 series I have the same interest in this topic. Apparently EA plans to let Codemasters continue operating essentially as an "independent group" while providing them with the financial backing to continue growth. It seems EA may however takeover the F1 franchise due to the branding would be my guess. Hopefully they don't kill the series with micro transaction b.s. because I think Codemasters has done a great job the last few years.

the previous EA formula 1 games, I did not find it pleasant to play....... but wait and see what it will be.

Liberty Media is positive about it. But it will also involve licenses, read dollars......

Yea time will tell. I hold great disdain for EA due to their predatory micro transactions and monopolization of profession sport / team licensing to kill off any competition in the gaming space.
