Cars not showing up in showroom and crashing when trying to use them

Right so I converted a mod over (for personal use dw) but the cars are not showing up in the showroom and when I try to load them in they'll crash the game. Not sure what I did wrong exactly so I would like to know what could possibly cause this

Ye I used that. Though sometimes it feels like I miss something while doing it.

Yea, I have had similar problems. Mostly it is because some files are placed in the wrong folders. AMS won't look into folders for the files, but Rfactor will. You can work it out by looking at how other AMS mods put the files.
There is also generally a difference in how physics feels in AMS. Some mods convert ok, while others feel like you're driving a blob of jelly. And the car reflections are often left out.

There is a lovely bunch of files in the GSCE section that fixes the reflections issue Fix
Just remember to make a backup of your AMS files before installing them.

Anyway, have a close look at the file and folder structure, if you are still lost give me another message and I will try to explain it further.

worked for me, I get the feeling the poly count is way too high it took ages to load. And there are more than a few issues to tidy up.
