Car filters, IDs and Classes

Hey!

Sorry to ask so many questions, but I want to dive deeper into some topics.

Regarding the Car and Class IDs, we have the situation with some mods, that they use existing IDs. Running these Mods alone is mostly no problem, but when you want to create mixed class races, they do effect each other.

However, changing the class ID seems not to solve the problem; changing the car name mostly results to be impossible to mix these cars into other classes at all.

As far as I can see, AndreasFSC has done it perfectly in his mods. So there must be something he takes care of, or something I have overseen so far.

Any ideas...?

every class has to have own ClassID

the game does not care for carnames, different cars can have the same ID
but they will be treated as same and placed in the first found class defined

dont overlook VANILIA carIDs & classIDs defined in special files

you want to find mismatches / double entry, use the RaceAnalyser tool
