If you are on PC and your video settings aren't saved and the F1 2016 folder in your
...\My Documents\My Games\F1 2016
is empty it's because your username and/or file path to this directory contains a not-Latin special character and Codemaster's settings routine doesn't work.
The problem could be that your system language (mine is German) and the used game language (English) differs. As a workaround create a new user account in Windows without special characters and use the new account for F1 2016 and wait for a fix.
