F1 2012 Cannot start Career after re-reinstalling

Hello guys. I got the savegame corrupt error again for the third time and I decided to re-install the game. I did not start the game after all the patches have been downloaded. The game straight away takes you to the YDT right, I cannot select any options when I get there. All i can do is turn the wheel, change gears and thats it. I'm unable to get going in the YDT and hence unable to start a career. Any solutions for this?
