Can we change first person driver animations?

Hi,
A while ago I downloaded Simed3D just for curiosity how modding works with it (I've never ever made a mod in any game, so plz don't assume I know how to make mods. Also my free trial expired in a few days and I've never been able to use it since). In it, I opened the driver model (external and first person) and saw it in t-pose. Which made me think that those hands, and specially fingers, as they seem to look like in the game, are not just static and rotating on an axis, but fully animated...
So I was thinking, can we, or why haven't anyone thought of reanimating the first person hands? They seem like they could be reanimated, I guess in blender maybe... Don't you think it would be so much better? Like, those hands would no longer block the whole screen and maybe make them universally suitable (one anim for all) for different kinds of wheels like F1, GT, street, etc... much liek Asseto Corsa, where the elbow always stays amost below eye level... Also we can maybe finally get solve the problem because of which many F1 mods have those ugly fixed-to-the-steering hands! Or is it just locked away by the Devs? What are your thoughts? :)

If I'm not wrong ... the FPdriver animation is done with the .LMA files in Gamedata/animations/Driver folder
So I guess that's not only with a 3D software as Blender that such an animation may be recreated.

I don't even know which tool can create those files, what they do and how they do it.

So I guess that only someone with a good knowledge of all those files might MAYBE do something about the FPDriver.
But who should do such a big operation on an old game as GTR2 :D
