^ This...this looks lovely.http://www.sendspace.com/file/39uq1j
I changed grass texture (not everywere, so you can see the difference) to one found in google, start time to 5:00 PM (when F1 race starts localtime) and weather to light cloud and basically thats it, took one hour to do so.
Doesn't look too bad, you agree? If you wish to change your mind I can add sponsor logos and it is ready to go.
That is one you will have in replays, famous rfactor 2 bug i believe.Although...is the racing line supposed to look like that? I think it needs a fix too.
Well I mean, when I looked at my hotlap replay from Shanghai the line is smooth (wherever the path is present, in this case I don't count the cut-offs) but in the video the line is like http://prntscr.com/3jvqf4That is one you will have in replays, famous rfactor 2 bug i believe.
Looks not bad. Is it possible to adjust the color saturation a little down for whole track? It looks a bit like too colourful ^^http://www.sendspace.com/file/39uq1j

That is because Shanghai uses it is own realroad texture I think. This uses rfactor 2 default by the looks of it.Well I mean, when I looked at my hotlap replay from Shanghai the line is smooth (wherever the path is present, in this case I don't count the cut-offs) but in the video the line is like http://prntscr.com/3jvqf4
Could it be your graphics settings then?
yep, i think it is not generally too colorful, since real track is but green concrete walls are a bit too bright in some places:Looks not bad. Is it possible to adjust the color saturation a little down for whole track? It looks a bit like too colourful ^^

The link is in the postSheesh that looks brilliant mate! I hope you upload it to the mods section anyway, so we can enjoy it in private at least.

You could have bought yourself time and actually let drivers to drive on a track they like more. A nice poll could have been even wiser. No one of course forces to use this version forever. Anyway, this is just an advice how to deal with things in the future since you are made your final decision. Cheers.Regarding Melbourne, it's a good start to edit grass, any track modding is always appreciated. But David and I made this decision (David could have changed the grass quickly as well and put 5 P.M which always looks better on any track), but we decided not to work on tracks from year 2001 and focus on newer tracks. Even if we stuck with the old graphics, this Melborune version has 2 corners which you can cut so easily that I would never run an FSR race on it without anti-cuts created. This is final decision.
