PC2 Brakes behaving strangely (Locking up on starts)

When I start a session (Standing start in the pits or on the grid) or spin off the track, it seems that the front brakes lock up and will only release when the brake pedal is tapped while accelerating. This is very frustrating indeed. I use no brake assist or other aids when I play.
Has anyone come across this and perhaps have a remedy for this issue? I noticed it when I started the career mode when racing the formula rookie. It seems to be doing that with most cars I've tried.
I currently use a set of G27 pedals converted to USB using a bodnar adapter. I have 0 issues in other racing sims and it really makes me rather want to get my simracing fix elsewhere.

Hi, that sounds really weird. I know that some people have said that they need to calibrate the pedals everytime they start PC2, could that solve it?

Or try to delete the controller config file in MyDocuments/Project Cars 2.
Or maybe dirt on potentiometers in brake pedal?
Do they show up as G27 pedals in the game options?
