Brake setups help

Hi all I have been trying to drive without ABS assists and thought I was doing ok but I just did a online race F3 at Interlagos and realised my braking is much longer than the leaders. When I tried braking as late, I locked up, no matter what setup I used.

I also found a similar issue against the AI driving Stock Cars V8 at Santa Cruz D, where the AI could brake at least 50m later than I was and again I tried to modify the brake setup but just ended up locking up.

Any help will be appreciated and thank you.

What pedals are you using? Hood pedals are going to make the biggest difference in braking consistency.

I wouldn't worry about the AI, they aren't using the same physics as you and its often very badly setup and its not uncommon to have them braking very early or very late in certain corners.
