PC2 Brake ducts question

I was testing brake ducts with GT3, Formula A and X cars. Although i set rear and front ducts to 0%, i can race for many laps without overheating my brakes, even in dry conditions. They always stay within the optimal green zone.

Is it normal, realistic?

0% isn't really 0. It's just the lowest percentage they can be set but it's not actually a "closed duct".
