Automatic driving at the start. Can i turn it off?

I want to sit in the car and get comfortable while in VR. Is there any way i can turn off the automatic driving at the start? Just like AC, i want to to look around the cockpit and get comfortable before i drive.

under options/gameplay set manual pitstops to "yes". then, the car will not drive out of the garage by itself.
