Assetto Corsa sound mods not applying.

New to forum posting so my fault if this isn't in the right section. But last night I got the game and immediately started downloading and applying all the car & track mods I've wanted(which all of them work just fine). Later on I went for the sound mods but none of them change the actual sound after I've dragged and dropped in the the content>cars folder. Anybody have a clue why?

You need to put in in content/cars/[car]/sfx, then overwrite the file. Though you should take a backup of the original file first. If if includes a GUIDs file , it needs to be there too
