AMS-Practice A.I.

I recently noticed the last few times I ran AMS, the AI cars never came out to practice. Thru the whole practice, I was the only car on the track. I haven't changed any setttings that I'm aware of. Anyone ever see this before? And if so, how do I correct this?. I've never seen this in any game before !!!!!!

Apparently, they don't come out to save their tire sets for the race!
