AIs running out of fuel, why?

Hi
I've made two races (on differt tracks) during the last half hour where all AIs abandoned the race after a couple of laps due to fuel shortage. It started today. I have'nt seen this Before.

Can anyone give me a clue to why this i happening. Have I got some setting wrong?

Tracks: Brands Hatch GP 1.0 by Spidey and Ring_Tourist_0.97n (5 lap races)
Car: LolaT280 by PIXSIM

Did a 5 lap race at the same Brands Hatch track but with the Formula ISI 2012 car by ISI.
No fuel problems for the AIs
