AI Upshift parameters?

Evening,

Does anyone know a way of stopping the AI from shifting seamlessly, i am working on the 1975 F1 mod for AMS and im currently working on the clutch system. I have it at the moment where you have to lift to shift, but every time i lift the AI pulls away from me about 3 to 5 metres each shift. Any help would be appreicated.
