Again Steam trouble!!

Hi Guy's, again I have trouble with steam. Steam tries to update platform, get stuck at 99% and gives me this error message: could not open vstlib_s.dll
Don't know how to solve this. Deleted 2 blob files, tried again, no luck!
ONLY SOLUTION???: delete steam and start all over?

No support needed anymore, solved by shutting down Avast!!

I´ve had a lot less headaches since I stopped using Avast, AVG and other free antivirus apps and installed Microsoft Security Essentials instead (also free for personal use). Doesn´t hurt that it´s a very very good AV either, second to none of the free afaik.

No support needed anymore, solved by shutting down Avast!!

Put the dll into your Avast exclusions list and that'll fix it.
