Accuforce Umbilical Cord Issue...

We have an issue with our Umbilical from the wheel base to the wheel breaking itself under what I would call normal use.

Is this a common issue and is there a fix floating around out there that I haven't been able to find in my interweb searches?

What type of Cable's are you using ? Connectors, ect ect.

My cord got stuck between the rim and the wheelbase due to a spin.
When I tried to free the cable I tore it open damaging two smaller cables inside.
My friend 'welded' (if that's the correct term) them back together. Been working fine ever since.
Wrote a customer support to simxperience.
The immediately responded and gave me this adress:

Bought two of them just to be sure but still racing with the original one.

I had it happen once when the cord got wrapped in a paddle as well. You can buy them from digi-key using the link below. Buy a couple. They're cheap.
