ACC online system?

I'm a little worried about the online system that is being readied for ACC. A lot of talk of "matching drivers", which in theory is a good thing, but what if I want to race a certain circuit with certain conditions in a certain car? Nothing has been written yet about having a simple server browser with choice the main benefit there. I just hope the only option to race online isn't some restrictive console-style matchmaking system.

One problem with AC was that if you had both open and restricted (MR) public servers then everyone would end up in the most non restricted servers; no one wants to sit around in an empty restricted server in the hope it will eventually get populated. So I hope that all public servers have restrictions and that password protected servers only can be unrestricted. I'm hopeful they get it right but there are a lot of competing wishes some of which will have unintended consequences if implemented.

Well, they got the online system wrong pretty much from the outset for AC, with only those "booking servers" available, so who knows what we will be getting in ACC.
