MGP20 5.7Gb patch broken

Fatal errors galore!
I can't go near the career menu, fatal error.
Also lovely green build text on the screen.
Facebook is alive with peoples problems.
Every game, EVERY game, Milestone do something like this.

For ps4:
- Check the last console system update.
- Turn off (not stand by) and power on your console to clean the cache.
- Power off your PS4, hold the power button to start the Safe Mode, and choose "Database Rebuild".
- Try to download the game again. Maybe something went wrong with the first download.

Pc version. It would appear it's every pc user has issues.

Whats in the patch anyway? if its an update to the true 2020 content then you will probably need to clean install.

Okay just read the patch notes. When has this been updated before? mine hasnt had any updates until today and even then its not 5.7gb its just over 600mb.

Did you try deleting your save game? works for the PS4 version so could well work on pc too.

Fix crash, work for me:

•Disable Steam Cloud Sync for motogp
•Then go on your MotoGP20 save folder
C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\motogp20\Saved\SaveGames
and delete or cut/paste into another folder the CAREER.sav file.
•Run the game
•Enjoy again (without your career though)

For the green text, try this:

Search for the folder AdditionalNonUFS , file "Build.version" and change "show version" to 0

And FPS (frame rates) are they OK? Someone complained about this in Facebook (PC version) .

My 2070 is coping (barely). But due to the broken nature of the game since the 2 disastrous patches I can't even create a career.
I'm just hot lapping for now.

Mine too. I tried to reset career still fatal error, the manager selection is buggy, and I notice that the tires selection also causing the fatal error.

I suppose it's good news the devs are still trying to fix the game.
But then again it's only broken because they tried to fix the game...twice.

It turns out because I've installed the Project 20 Mod. When I deleted It, my career is not buggy anymore, I can do a new career. Idk about continuing the previous career, haven't tried that.

That very probably could also be causing my career problem.

What about the perfomance decrease? I run on GTX970m and had steady smooth 60fps @ fll detail and now it's more like 25-40!
Is there a way to install the game in the version before last 2 patches?

I've removed the 2020 patch and the game runs now.
I have a 2070 and it's struggling!
I've been looking and haven't found any solution.
I guess we wait.

So downloaded this 5.7gb patch yesterday, have previous career save so wasn't expecting it to run afterwards but it runs fine and performance hasn't been impacted at all like some people are stating
