21:9 single monitor for simracing

Hi. Soon I am going to change my monitor to 21:9. My concern is to buy 2560x1080 and have 144hz and more FPS or 3440x1440 with 100 Hz and lower FPS. I will buy also rx5700. There are two monitors I consider. LG 34UC79G or BenQ EX3501R. Can you help me please taking into account only simracing issues? Thanks a lot!

3440x1440 with 100 Hz and lower FPS. As long as that video card will give you at least 90 fps, I don't feel you'll miss having 144 Hz refresh for racing.

I have this - you can either choose 1440p @ 100Hz or the 144Hz (OCable to 200Hz, I ran mine on 180Hz for long) 1080p variant:
