Misc 2-way traffic additional layout for "Hong" and barriers remove 2021-05-23

For some reason, i can't leave the pits, it keeps bouncing into an invisible barrier and i'm unable to exit into the main road.

I'm on CSP 0.2.2

Also, I'm missing the pit_lane.ai - but that shouldn't be the reason right?

My guess - you've selected the standard layout.
You have to select TRACK DAY session with list of cars for AI and "Hong Free Roam" layout from this mod.

I have the same problem...
I'm pretty sure "Track Day" and Hong Free Roam" are selected. AI cars can exit the pit but I will hit the invisible barrier.

Also the AI will roam into each other at the pit exit area

So it comes down to the CSP version and if the newer CSP treats the code in "surfaces.ini" differently than before. The physical barriers in my add-on were disabled by adding code

That works ok in CSP 1.80 pr115 and ok with CSP disabled.

I can't tell if the newer CSP has some anti-cheat new feature or if there's a different problem with your specific setup.

For less congestion when you use AI flood add less AI cars. I find 10 to be quite sufficient when the paint is randomized.
