Win DTM Tickets: Beat Tim Heinemann in RaceRoom

Tim Heinemann has made his DTM debut in 2023, with his Porsche 911 GT3 R (992) sporting a "From Sim to DTM" livery. With the release of the Porsche Pack, his car is now available in RaceRoom as well - and if you can beat the Toksport WRT driver in the sim rig, you can win tickets to see him in action at the Nürburgring.

Having started in karting, Heinemann revived his real racing career due to his sim racing successes, which culminated in his move to the DTM for the 2023 season. There, the 25-year-old made headlines by leading the overall standings after finishing second in both races of the season opener at Oschersleben. Since then, the Essen-native has not scored any more points, however.

He will look to turn things around in round 4 at the Nürburgring, and the four fastest DTM Beat the Pro leaderboard in RaceRoom will get the chance to see Heinemann and the rest of the DTM grid, including well-known drivers like Sheldon and Kevin van der Linde, Maro Engel, René Rast, and more. The top four of the competition, which sees sim racers take Heinemann's Porsche to the Nürburgring GP circuit, are going to win tickets to the event.

The competition is open until August 2nd, so just in time for the DTM weekend at the Nüburgring, which is going to take place from August 4th to 6th.

I simply cannot stand the graphics of raceroom, it looks to outdated for me. If they gave it a graphic overhaul/new engine then I would surely give raceroom a new try because I think that they content is great, the sounds are good and the driving behaviour was quite fun to me too.

RaceRoom graphics do not bother me in the slightest. Most important is how the cars feel to drive and I think RaceRoom is one of the best. When I am concentrating on racing I honestly don't have time to study how pretty a game is, the racing experience is everything.

DTM died, it became just another GT3 category among the many that exist around the world
Don’t agree; DTM offers some of the best racing out there, despite the GT3 aspect. Take a look at the results, last year & this year. A winner is never guaranteed, unlike F1; DTM is always good for a surprise.

I mis-read the Title. I thought it said beat Tim Henman's Time! OK then, i fancy a bit of that. Once i realised it was Tim Heinemann I thought, why bother.

Sim racing has never been about the graphics for me. I mean people rave on about acc/rennsport on unreal engine I am far from impressed. Current modern engines just make the whole thing look cartoonish/lifeless. Just look at the cockpits of these titles.....so much of a plastic look. Sim racing in general has poor unrealistic graphics compared to other game genre. Maybe in a few generations to come it will catch up. But as for now I cannot outright say any sim is the visual benchmark :(

DTM is since 2021 the biggest scam in motorsport history. It has a total lack of sportmanship. I would say from DTM to sim is a bigger upgrade than vice versa.
